Question: If your fly was down or you had spinach in your teeth, wouldn’t you want someone to tell you? (We sure would! No one wants to face that kind of embarrassment – and the same goes for our business lives.)

That great question was posed by John Hall in his Forbes article about the importance of entrepreneurial communities.

Hall stresses the value of finding those honest folks who won’t let you walk around looking foolish. This is especially crucial for entrepreneurs, whose personal actions put their business’s reputation on the line every day.

We totally agree with Hall. Surrounding yourself with people who challenge you and give honest feedback is a game-changer. Tight-knit events are often where you can find the most valuable insights and support. It’s not just about chasing success alone; it’s about building a supportive community, learning from each other, and achieving success together.

That’s why Meyer Business Law is proud to be an active part of the Princeton business and entrepreneurial community. We’re proud to be involved with the Princeton University Entrepreneurial Network, StartUp Grind Princeton with David Stengle, the Pennington Business and Professionals Association, and now Startup Grind Trenton with John Snee. Additionally, we’ve found a valuable home in the BNI (Business Network International) community (Givers Gain!) and love popping into Vistage Worldwide, Inc. meetings. If you need someone to have your back in your entrepreneurial endeavors, we’re here to help. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
